A LIFE PLANTED IN HISTORY
Kirkland Moore has spent fifty years in the gardens of America: planting them, studying them, and gathering the plants, ornaments, and stories that make them matter.
FIFTY YEARS IN AMERICA’S GARDENS
A plantsman and garden historian, Kirkland has worked for Colonial Williamsburg, the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation, the Historic Savannah Foundation, and the Garden Club of Virginia, and carried the garden to a national audience as host of "American Gardener" on QVC and as a correspondent for "Good Morning America."
WEDDING FLORAL DESIGN
From the bride's bouquet to the last buttonhole, Kirkland composes wedding flowers the way his gardens are planted: heirloom varieties, gathered in season, and arranged with a historian's eye for what endures.

LANDSCAPE DESIGN
Whether the commission is a wedding lawn, a private retreat, or the restoration of an old planting, Kirkland begins with the history of the place and designs for the people who will inherit it, drawing on fifty years among America's great historic gardens.
